REVOLUTIONIZING THE BRAKE INDUSTRY
IT’S DESIGNED FOR
YOUR BIKE
-
·
The unit is designed for 1" axles. 3/4" &
metric reducer bushings sold separately
-
·
They work with most standard master
cylinders (minimum 9/16th for a single brake or 11/16th for a dual brake
installation)
-
·
They work with most standard brake lines
(longer lines could be required to reach the brake in some instances; the
360 caliper is closer to the axle than a typical caliper)
IT’S ENGINEERED FOR
POWER
-
· The
360 Brake System utilizes a circular piston and pads activated by
hydraulic pressure to deliver 360 degrees of braking power to the rotor.
-
·
The new rotor, which is grooved and
vented, together with the brake hat's newly designed venting system,
effectively eliminates dust build up while providing superior airflow to
the brake.
-
· The
360 Brake System performs extremely well. It was tested in controlled
conditions against a rigorous testing protocol based on the FM VSS 122 DOT
test, and in some instances exceeded the protocol by well over 100%!
A UNIQUE FEEL IN BRAKING
o
This allows
you to brake straighter, longer and harder without losing control.
o
It also
reduces the risk of going into a “tank slap” from over correction to the
brake pull.
-
·
Instead of
lifting all the weight off the back tire, due to the shift of bike weight
common in current braking systems, the 360 Brake creates more down force
and keeps better traction on the
road. (In the typical brake set-up, the position of the caliper and
distance from the axle center of rotation actually creates a “lever arm”
affect that causes the feeling of being catapulted over the handle bars
when the brakes are applied quickly, as in a panic stop.)
o
Instead of
the typical 80-20, or 90-10 braking, our brake is more like 60-40 front-
to-rear, because of this dramatically reduced weight shift.
o
This also
allows you to brake harder with the rear brake and still maintain contact
with the road, with less skidding.
o
This is
proven with a rider on the back of the bike. Just by tapping a
conventional brake you
slam the passenger into you and can lose control of the bike just from that force.
While braking with our brake the passenger will slide forward, butt first,
and not slam into your shoulders and arms keeping you in better control of
the bike.
IT’S IN A CLASS OF
ITS OWN
-
·
For more than
50 years, there have been no significant changes in the brake industry
-
·
We believe
that the 360 Brake will revolutionize the brake industry with its unique
design, and outstanding performance characteristics.
